Fill out a FAFSA, The federal Government does not run a credit check and they don not require you to have good credit. The only way they will deny you is if you had a previous Federal loan and you defaulted on it. (never paid them back)

I applied for FASFA for free online and i have (sad to say) Horrible credit, but I was still able to be awarded student aid. Loans im not too sure about, but FASFA is something to check out.
