each bank is different.. I believe the current going rate for new loans is about 6 %.. There is a law before the House that will lower all new loans to about 3%... Mohela is good.. that is who mine was with .. just about any loan company is going to be the same rate. Know that Sallie Mae will NOT let u consolidate later so be careful with them.. Ur FA office has a list of lenders and what they chg

I don't know. I have Sallie Mae and I think mine is 3%..they say its coming down again in June, I believe.

we have Mohela. they work with commerce bank but they have the cheapest interest rates around.
