FinAid.org is a wonderful site written in plain language that covers everything from loans to scholarships, federal aid to private aid, etc.
Loans: http://www.finaid.org/loans/
Scholarships: http://www.finaid.org/scholarships/
Whether you are changing careers or not, you should check out the above pages. FinAid also has a page about resources for adult learners: http://www.finaid.org/otheraid/older.pht...
Not that you should limit your scholarship search, but if you DO wish to restrict your search to Aid programs specifically designated for adult learners, look out for terms like %26quot;nontraditional student%26quot; or %26quot;continuing education.%26quot;
As always, don't forget to file the FAFSA at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov -- Federal Student loans boast some of the lowest rates out there. Even if you don't want Federal aid, most schools, most private loan companies and many scholarship organizations require the FAFSA anyway to establish your level of financial need.
